KCC children have now set up their very own football team, birthed out of their passion for football! Some of the boys were inspired by their visit to Manchester United Football club during the Destiny Africa tour!!
We are all excited about this new venture. Our vision here at KCC is, above all, to give each child a future. We have witnessed over and over again transformation in children’s lives. Some of the most obvious signs in the children are: more confidence, renewed passions, life, they begin to believe they are significant and they can achieve their dreams. This football team set up by some of our children at KCC, is a living testimony of that transformation!
The Football team is made up of twelve players from the community and twelve players from KCC. We have found a national player who is willing to coach them. They train on Wednesday’s and Saturday and will train extra days in the school holidays. These children love playing and are eager to learn new skills…”so that one day they can be better than Beckham!!” (quoted by some of the children in the team!)
