This is house 8 which was completed in Feb and now is being used as a halfway house. New Beginnings house has a capacity to take 12 boys of ages 13 – 18. Now six boys between the ages of 13 to 16 have moved in and the rest will be joining them when they return to Uganda from the Destiny Africa UK tour.

The new “tenants”, may be “landlords” is the better word are: Denis, Derrick, Sunny-Danny, Steven, Roger and Ronnie. Our goal at KCC is that all children from the age of 13 should be introduced to a specific skill, helped to become more independent, and equipped to live a responsible lifestyle.

For now the house is run by a mother while we are interviewing and short-listing male candidates to run the house as an uncle or a male model in he life of the boys living in this beautiful home.

With the exception of a few things missing like pantry shelves, wardrobe storing clothes and cupboards new beginnings (House 8), has opened with a bang.
